Partner in Preservation
Hello,
Thank you for taking time to visit our website and learn about sponsorship. The International Society for
Organ Preservation is embarking on its most aggressive year for training and education in 2012 and in
order to accomplish this, your sponsorship is much needed.
By the close of the 2011 NATCO annual meeting in San Francisco, we will have conducted seven Certified
Transplant Preservationist (CTP) prep course workshops; two with AOPO (this year and last), three at
individual OPO’s (in Michigan, New Jersey and Ohio), one at a transplant center (in Cleveland) and one
with NATCO. We will have had just fewer than 110 of the 300-400 preservation professionals that are
actively working in the preservation field attend our prep courses. Many OPO’s will be requiring the CTP
designation for their preservationists and we want to continue providing this education. The success
rate for passing the CTP exam for those taking the workshop is 93% through the end of April 2011.
We are also looking into webinars to help with this education and training for both members of the ISOP
as well as nonmembers. The ISOP is also looking at ideas such as sponsoring research grants and an
annual distinguished preservationist professional award to help promote the status of preservationists
in the transplant field. Your gracious sponsorship can provide the resources we need as well as we look
forward to hearing your ideas and building upon your experiences.
In closing, ISOP is an organization that is dedicated to the dissemination of preservation knowledge
to the transplant community. The past year of activity has shown that we are a dynamic and forward
thinking organization. Sponsorship will enable you to have access to our members through the website
and the newsletter and increase your market exposure. We are confident that your support of the ISOP
will be of tremendous benefit to your organization.

Sincerely,
